On Tuesday 01/22/2014 7-11 clerk Yosef Tulu ( a citizen of Ethiopia ) was
shot and killed. A day after he has been brutally murdered police arrested the teenager who they believe
is responsible for the crime caught on tape. Police arrested 18-year-old Colten Jon
Moore without incident.
Officials say a tip received had enough
credible information that a search warrant was obtained for a house in the 2900
block of Creek Valley Drive. Moore was arrested at the house that sits, which
sits less than one mile from the 7-11 store where Tulu was murdered. It was in the early morning hours of
January 21 when a person wearing a mask and dark-colored jacket walked in to
the convenience store at Firewheel Parkway and Pleasant Valley. A survillene Video showed the person,
believed now to be Moore, carrying a rifle by his side. The person immediately
walked to the clerk and robbed the store. After shooting Tulu the killer walks
out of the store carrying a bag. A deliveryman later discovered Tulu’s body.
Moore is being charged with Capital
Murder. His bond has been set at $1,000,000.

The actress and director of the
upcoming Unbroken is
now on board as one of the EPs of the Sundance Film Festival World Cinema Dramatic Competition film Difret. The
announcement thatAngelina Jolie has
joined the Ethiopian pic comes just days before its January 18 world premiere
in Park City. The Oscar-winning actress also will be taking a presentation credit on the film. No word yet if that will
change the title of the film. From first-time feature director Zeresenay
Berhane Mehari, Difret tells the tale of a girl and a female lawyer who take on the Ethiopian tradition of
“telefa”, or marriage by abduction. “This film is a strong moment for art in
Ethiopia”, said Jolie in a statement today. “It is inspiring to see such
an important story so beautifully illustrated with such creative talent. It
draws out the richness of Ethiopian culture and shows how important legal
advances can be made while respecting local culture. It is a story that gives
hope for Ethiopia’s future, and for other countries where countless girls grow
up without the protection of laws that shield them and their bodies, and shows
how the courage of brave individuals can awaken the conscience of a society.” In November, Jolie was recipient of the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences’
Jean Hersholt Award for
her international humanitarian efforts. This year’s Sundance kicks off
tomorrow ( January 18 and runs through
January 26. Source (Captain Philips)

Under the instruction of Pastor Lesego Daniel
of Rabboni Centre Ministries dozens of followers dropped to the floor to eat
the grass at his ministry in Garankuwa, north of Pretoria after being told it
will 'bring them closer to God.' His controversial methods have drawn criticism
from thousands of people although members of his congregation swear by his
methods - he is said to have claimed that humans can eat anything to feed their
bodies and survive on whatever they choose to eat. source ( Mail On line )
