Indian investor wants to triple his land acquisition in Ethiopia

Top Indian business man and General manager of Karuturi global Ltd, said he has acquired big chunk of land (approximately 30000 hectare ) from the Ethiopian Government and plans to triple it by the next fiscal year. In an interview with CDTV news, Mr. Sai Ramakrishnan , founder and CEO of Karuturi ltd. Claimed, his company mainly uses the land to grow rice, maize and palm oil. Asked how much land he plans to cover Mr. Kartuturi said his company is looking to hold altogether around three million hectare of land primarily in Ethiopia , Kenya and South Africa.
