Ethiopia: Chinese man stabbed another Chinese to death.

The Federal High Court asked a Chinese man who killed his compatriot, who had come to work on construction in Ethiopia a couple of months back, to come up with his rejoinder before final conviction. The murder was an unfortunate incident that followed what seemed to be a run-of-the-mill row between the two fellow countrymen who lived together, witnesses of the public prosecutor attested. According to the information the court disclosed, the cause of the murder was a wrangle over whether the television channel they were watching should be switched or not, back in July 23, 2010. It all happened at about midnight in their home. As the quarrel grew serious, the defendant stabbed the deceased to death with a knife he was apparently using. The High Court which found the Chinese man guilty demanded he should reappear before the court Tuesday, November 3, with defense witnesses. Source (News Dire)
