Iranian mother's death by stoning has been stopped

According to a BBC report, Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, will no longer be stoned to death, but it is still not clear what her fate will be. Sakineh, a 43 year old mother of two, has been imprisoned in Tabriz, since 2006, on an adultery conviction. She has already been punished with 99 lashes, given in front of her children. Read more…
