Ethiopia's New Fingerprint System Breaks Down

The Feds started difficult negotiations with the South African company brought in by GCS to ensure that the problem is solved without damaging any of the sensitive data stored in the server. The experts recently suggested moving the whole system to their headquarters in South Africa. But the forensic department of the Federal Police strongly disagreed, refusing to send away information that concerns national security to a third party abroad. Read more…
